Summer Solstice Mini Quilt

Another mini quilt finish!  This quilt is from the Summer Solstice quilt along hosted by Happy Quilting Melissa.  I fell in love with it because of the curves!  I've been dabbling with curves lately and found I really enjoy sewing them.  Melissa offered a huge variety of size options for this quilt, and I decided to go with the larger block size and make a single one for a mini quilt.  I used the extra fabric from the paint drip quilt I made for Angela Pingel over the summer.

This was a fast finish - there were five sets of instructions and you got a new set every two weeks.  It was easy to keep up because I was only making one block!  And the blues are so calming!  This one has been hung up on my sewing room wall.
