2024 Monthly Recap: July
July was a month full of sewing deadlines and I made all of them! I was helped by the fact that my husband and all three kids went camping for a week without me so I had a lovely week of sewing and reading and relaxing on my own.

Quilts Started
Pebbled Prairie - Halloween version! This is my newest quilt pattern and I am planning on releasing it at the end of August, in time for National Sew a Jelly Roll Day. I've wanted to do a pre-cut friendly quilt for a while and this one is absolutely beautiful.

Quilt Progress (6 WIPs touched)
MMQG Sewing (Test Block Sampler and The Rest of the Quilt Back) - It's
curves this month! I used the backs of two different quilts this month - the red is from the Windsuit Mini Quilt and the gray is from the Panda 100 Days Quilt.
Fado Road - This was my "palate cleanser" sewing for the month. I worked on it in bits and pieces between projects. All the fabric is picked out, it's only squares and rectangles, and there's no directional fabrics to worry about. It's a nice project to sew between other things.
Lemon Blossom Mystery Quilt - This quilt is now basted and the straight-line quilting and diamonds between the blocks are done. With the quilt stabilized, I was able to add the binding as well. Once I finish hand-stitching that, I'll go back and quilt the colorful parts.
Blocks made for my memory scrap quilt and leaders and enders quilt.
Miscellaneous Accomplishments
Aside from a Throwback Thursday post about a quilt that predates the blog, not much else crafty happened here. Once my boys were home from camp we spent a lot of time doing fun summer things together. But now it's time to buckle down and get to work on the final steps of my pattern design process!
