Zephyr QAL Week 10: Finish Parade featuring Blue Zephyr!

A big THANK YOU to everyone who sewed along with me on this quilt-along.  I get a thrill every time you share your work with me - it's so exciting to see what you make with my patterns!  I'm going to kick off the parade with my quilt-along version of Zephyr - the fourth one I've made.  This pattern has been working hard to clear out my stash, but there's still plenty of fabric in there!

The back of the quilt is the Stonehenge Flannel wideback in Navy (no longer available from the website I bought it from) - once I started backing quilts in flannel there was no looking back.  My family loves these extra-heavy, extra warm quilts.  The quilting pantograph is Woven Wind, done by Lauren at Tekstil Crave; it's the same quilting I had done on the original Zephyr and still a favorite!  The binding is a navy solid that I found in my stash; probably a Kona although it wasn't labeled.

And now for the exciting part of the post - your Zephyrs!

My mother-in-law, Nancy, made a Blue Zephyr too!  Her background is a tiny flower print; I love how it reads as a blender from a distance.  She also added a border.

@QuiltingSally made a beautiful rainbow batik version of Zephyr!

Vickie (@vpdonnelly) made a rainbow Tula Pink Zephyr!

A special congratulations to Vickie, who won the random drawing for the final Zephyr prize!  Thank you again to everyone who sewed along with me!  I'm doing the final testing on my next pattern which is something quite different from any of the other patterns I've released so far - I can't wait to share it with you!

Want to make your own Zephyr?  The Zephyr pattern is available in my pattern shop!  Join my mailing list to get a coupon code for a discount off your first purchase there.  You'll also be the first to know about new patterns and quilt-alongs!

Thank you for sharing this gallery of completed quilt tops/quilts. It's always fascinating to see the different looks colour and fabric choices give to a pattern.
